Wisdom and Knowledge Program and Events
Founded by the visionary Taecha Francis, the Fertile Crescent Cultural Center (FCCC) stands as a vibrant village for nurturing growth and unity within the diverse Afro-community. FCCC is more than just a center; it's a home where families, individuals, and communities come together to celebrate, learn, and thrive.
Tai was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York; the child of Carribean parents deeply rooted in Afro-Carribean culture and studies, dreamed of someplace for people of color to go where they can learn about their roots and heritage. A place where young people get real preparation for life, including money management and other skills. She aims to assist the broader African diaspora in uniting with their allies and communities, fostering the expansion of their social networks, and creating a welcoming environment where they can come together, share common interests, and form meaningful bonds.
Our diverse offerings range from arts to education to wellness, all tailored to meet the African descendant community's needs and our common bonds with our allies. We cherish the free flow of knowledge and wisdom and provide a safe space for all ages, from children to elders. Our programs are designed to encourage, celebrate, prepare, and motivate our unique community members to their fullest potential.

“I’m very proud to be Black, but Black is not all I am. That’s my cultural historical background, my genetic makeup, but it’s not all of who I am, nor is it the basis from which I answer every question.”
