Get your Blanket or Lawn Chairs, let's get together for our Friday Night Backyard Watch! This Week we are diving into "The Boondocks". This Manga Series featuring the Freemans, a black grandad who won the lottery and moved to an afluent community with his two "ghetto" grandkids; was wildly popular in the early 2000s. It's satire and commentary on black culture in America at the time was hilarious but hit deep with messages wrapped in messages. Whether you're new to the series or enjoyed it when it came out, you'll enjoy this series. We are going to dive into some of the better episodes and have an open mic afterwards to discuss it!
